Milo Manheim plays Ryan, a high school student who is targeted by John Carver and tries to survive with his friends. Rick Hoffman plays Thomas Wright, a shady businessman who has a secret agenda and a link to the killer. Gina Gershon plays Amanda Collins, a wealthy socialite who hosts a lavish Thanksgiving dinner that turns into a bloodbath.


Thanksgiving is a homage to the classic slasher films of the 1980s, such as Halloween (1978), Friday the 13th (1980), and A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984). The film features many references and nods to these films, as well as to other horror films and genres. The film also has a dark comedy element, as it mocks and satirizes the American culture and values associated with Thanksgiving, such as consumerism, family, and patriotism.


Thanksgiving is produced by Spyglass Media Group, Dragonfly Entertainment, and Electromagnetic Productions, and distributed by TriStar Pictures. The film was released in the United States on November 17, 2023, just in time for the holiday season. The film has received positive reviews from critics and audiences, who praised the performances, the visual effects, the action sequences, and the gore.
